June Cannon Absolute Beginner Fiddle (B) If you've always wanted to play the fiddle but are not sure how to get started, this is your opportunity. How to hold it and look cool, basic bow control, rhythm patterns, how to get the notes. Bring your own fiddle if you have one-a few will be available to lend. This year this course will be given on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 after the afternoon classes and on Sunday as time permits so that anyone can try the violin. You’ll be amazed at what you can do on the violin in only a couple of hours. Intermediate Fiddle (I) We'll work on loosening that right arm, shuffling and slurring to give your tunes accent and drive, learning tunes by ear, and other topics about fiddling.
