Rene Worst Bass 101(B) A perfect class for those new to any instrument or to folks who already play but want to learn about the bass. We'll look at holding, tuning and other basics like plucking and fingering. We will also learn to play along with a couple of simple tunes that I will have written out and have on cd.By the end you will have a feel for what it's like to be a bass player. Bass 201(I) A course for bass players who have some experience. The emphasis will be on working on tone and feel. I will have about four bass of various feels, lines written out and on cd [swing, bossa nova etc...] and we'll have some fun analyzing and playing them.
