Finger-style Blues B/I
In this easy-going but challenging class we will look at two finger-style blues pieces. Both using a Travis style picking pattern: Fishin' Blues by Taj Mahal and Monday Morning Blues by John Hurt. We will work on the basic alternating thumb patterns associated with this style and then learn the songs section by section. Monday Morning Blues is in standard tuning. Fishing Blues is in drop D tuning. Some experience with finger-style guitar is recommended for this class. I/A
Ukulele Band: All Levels
This class will be taught in G, C, E, A tuning. We will explore playing as an ensemble with different parts based on abilities. We’ll look at strumming as well as single note playing and some finger style with tunes from Jazz, Pop and Blues. There will be opportunities for soloing and group singing too. Last year we did a ukulele arrangement of Low Rider by War! Come find out what this year has in store. All levels are welcome but some guitar or ukulele experience is strongly recommended.

Uke Mini Workshop (All levels)
For three years we have had this mini workshop. Players of all levels have come and we have been able to throw together some fun arrangements of Hawaiian tunes as well as some pop songs. If you have a ukulele bring it along, you won't want to miss this workshop. This year's focus: Johnny Cash. Class will be taught in GCEA tuning.
